Boiling water at 50 Below

Got some curious questions about boiling water and 50 below temperatures. So I though this might help. You are supposed to throw it out a second story window and it won't hit the ground, but all our windows are froze shut. So without further adieu...BOILING WATER AT 50 BELOW!!!

That's so cool! Thanks for the awesome science lesson. I cannot relate to -50 degrees. Yikes!

I always wonder what would happen when you blow bubbles at -50 below. Do they freeze? I am going to try that next!=)

Yes, bubbles freeze instantly, even at 25 - 30 below. I did it with a youth group once. They wrinkle just a little bit. When they hit the ground they shatter like glass, only soundlessly.

Or, they just bend and wrinkle a little more!

Sorry about the dual posts a moment ago. There seemed to be a glitch signing in with my wordpress account.
